A cleaner way to uninstall SQL Server 2008 R2

A while agao I ran into issues installing SQL Server 2008 R2 due to some previous installation failure. Uninstalling from Control Panel failed to remove SQL Server 2008 R2 completely therefore new installation fails every time.

After some research, I found out there are some registry entries left need to be cleaned up manually:

REM SQL Server 2008 R2 Common Files

MsiExec.exe /X{CACEA8C8-3D38-4F51-953D-1E6FC3346FEF}

REM SQL Server 2008 R2 Common Files

MsiExec.exe /X{FC835376-FF3B-4CAA-83E0-2148B3FB7C98}

REM Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup (English)

MsiExec.exe /X{72DE3C67-FB48-450E-8BEA-4EB1B3B5355D}

After running these commands, SQL Server is completed gone from OS and another refresh installation can be performed.
